Veggie cheese sandwich

Veggie cheese sandwich – Serves 2
Ingredients for making the veggie cheese sandwich
- 1/2 cup grated cucumber
- 1 grated carrot 1/2 cup
- finely chopped onion 1
- Finely chopped bell pepper 1/2 cup
- 1/2 cup sweet corn
- Salt to taste
- 8 bread slices
- 4 cheese slices
- Maggi hot & sweet tomato chili sauce
- Salted butter
- Oil 1 1/2 tbsp
Method of making the veggie cheese sandwich
Put oil in the pan. Once the oil is heated. Add chopped onions and fry until lightly golden brown. Squeeze water from the grated cucumber and add to the pan. Dry roast the cucumber, until all the water content of the cucumber is dried. Now add chopped bell pepper, grated carrot, sweet corn and salt to taste, mix well and close the lid. Cook for 2 minutes until all the veggies get cooked. Spread Maggi hot & sweet tomato chili sauce on one side of all the bread slices. Put 1 tbsp of veggie mixture/ sandwich filling prepared on the bread where the Maggi hot & sweet tomato chili sauce is spread. Now place a cheese slice on the filling cover it with another bread slice. Heat a nonstick pan and put some salted butter on the pan and place the sandwich on the pan and toast it until lightly golden brown, flip and cook the other side of the sandwich too. serve hot!
please mind the quantity of salt you will be adding to the sandwich filling because there is already some salt content in few ingredients used such as cheese slice, Maggi hot & sweet tomato chili sauce and the butter.
